The first cookies from the exhange.
These cookies are brought to you by my lovely friend Maria. Unfortunately I never got a chance to taste these cookies. I did not eat one yesterday because I was stuffed. Apparently they must have been good because they were the first to go at work. Now without further adieu, the recipes is below.

Thanks again for such a great party! I have been trying to not eat cookies all day long :) Also, your picture taking of baked goods is pretty amazing. I am sure they look more delicious than they actually were.
my coworkers also cleaned the tray of these first; congrats maria! but don't worry, not a single cookie was left by 10am
They look great. I'd like one right now!
These look very yummy. I make these cookies with a mini Reeses' peanut butter cup, but I like the kisses too! :)
These cookies look delicious! I used to do a cookie exchange with my sorority sisters and I can't tell you how much I miss it! I am baking cookies for a holiday work party next week and I'm going to try these!!
i tried these and they were de-li-cious!! i'll have to make them soon.
DIVINE!!
Hello! :D I'd love to make these cookies with the kids I help out with in a daycare! I have one question though.. Your recipe calls for 1/2 cup of butter, is that melted, lukewarm, etc...? Oh, and is this a one-bowl recipe or a two-bowl? Does it require an electric blender?
sorry for all of the inquiries, that's a bit more than just one, lol :)
My friend Maria gave me this recipe. I wold use softened butter(just microwave it if you do not have time to let it sit out) and you can either use one bowl or two. I typically mix my dry ingredients together first in one bowl and then add them to the wet. As long as you mix it really well then you do not need an electric mixer. I baked for years in college without an electric mixer. My arm got tired, but my cookies always turned out great.
Great recipe--thank you!
Thank you so so so much. I am horrible at cooking and baking, but you made it easy, not to mention delicious!!
